Hip Hop artist & producer Jevoni Tremaine Rhodes better known by his stage name JBilla, JBilla da Great, Real Talk Rhodes, J be illa than most or simply J.B, was born and raised in the midwest section of Milwaukee Wisconsin. JBilla found a love for music at an early age of 7 years old. JBilla formed his first rap group with childhood friend D Rock in middle school. The distraction of the street life detoured JBilla from Hip Hop by the age of 16. JBilla found his way back to music, his first love in 1994 after hearing “Ready to Die”, by The Notorious B.I.G. JBilla then partnered up with Dray Luv, S Wikd & The Dre to form The N.S.S.G’s. After the group’s break up, JBilla who started off as an MC began producing and formed his own company Gunz Down Productions where he released 6 solo projects and formed another group called BEV BOYZ with his younger brother Drastic. JBilla continues to produce other artists under his production company like Drastic, Chadoe Cerious, and many other artists from Milwaukee.
